Bipolar Mouse is a short horror platformer released here on Gamejolt around late 2020, by StarBlackProductions. The story is basically a loose adaptation and retelling of two popular Mickey Mouse creepypastas; Suicide Mouse and Mickey's Best Friend.
The game itself isn't anything too crazy; it starts out with a few levels in the city, where you just have to get to the end while taking your medications to keep your moods in order, and avoiding suicidal thoughts- and apparently sentient fire hydrants, for some reason. It turns out these platforming stages are just a dream, and after Mickey wakes up, he gets in his car to drive to his job, although he ends up crashing his car in the forest, and has to recover its scattered parts. After that, the rest of the game is pretty much just a bunch of cutscenes, which, I won't completely spoil, but... I must say, it gets unexpectedly gory and meta.
It was decently received and got played by a few Youtubers, but the game's developer didn't really put anything else up on his profile. So it sorta just stayed that way, and sorta came to be one of the more notorious Suicide Mouse fangames. Until a few months ago, when I randomly got nostalgic for it and went to redownload it, only to find that the page was nowhere to be found, and there were no reuploads anywhere- as far as I can tell, it was taken down at some point from March-October 2024. I looked far and wide for any possible leads to finding the game again, but none of them really went anywhere.
Until a few days ago, when I got into contact with some guys who happened to still have it! Massive props to u/LegalScheme6698 on Reddit and alguienxd8 on Youtube for helping recover this little gem!
