Clueless Caleb is a game that although could use a lot more tinkering in various aspects, still manages to be really fun! (A Work in Progress review!)
Aspects I loved!
The dungeon crawler style of gameplay fits great with the various things you could do throughout all eleven levels!
The art design of Clueless Caleb is charming and goofy, alongside the fun sound design, despite using various sound effects from either sound libraries, or self-recorded.
The setting of Clueless Caleb is so creative to me! The theming of board games makes the game's world and atmosphere truly alive in various cases!
The main characters, known as the Smitherson family, are nice additions to the game's cast, Caleb included!
Aspects in need of improvement!
A lot of items tend to not be used the moment they are introduced. For example, the yo-yo seen in the first level isn't encouraged to be used in later levels! It could've been better if most items introduced at least has a versatile role within the gameplay!
Readability in the game's art gets quite tricky when playing. Caleb's sprite could make the depth hard to read when you're in a room filled with multiple objects and such. A shadow placed under Caleb could've helped with knowing exactly where he was standing.

When entering the Minotaur's Conspicuous Store, Caleb and his family are sucked into the vibrant land of Trap Falls! Their only mission: Escape the board as soon as possible. Caleb must defeat the many monsters that lurk around, to then defeat the Minotaur and get back to your Foreign Exchange Trip in Spain!
Play as Caleb Smitherson, and help his family ESCAPE from the wicked Board Game, that you've been sucked into from the clutches of the Minotaur. Don't fall for his schemes!
