Simple platformer that has been in the making as a side-project for the past 6 years. It's been redesigned and improved steadily since I was presented with GameMaker 8 for the first time. Now, with a bit more skill and patience (and GameMaker Studio 2), I'm trying to bring this old project of mine back to life in an absolutely reimagined way.

This game has experienced some major updates throughout the years. The major ones are listed below.

1-. Early - Mid 2012 .
(EyeRun, EyeRun Green, EyeRun Blue, EyeRun Colors).
Made in GameMaker 8, using exclusively DnD. This doesn't explain its broken, glitchy and weird controls and clunky gameplay. However, it made for an interesting (yet poorly executed) proof of concept.

2-. Mid 2014 - Early 2015 .
(EyeRun Black and White, EyeRun Black and White Dungeon Edition).
Made in GameMaker 8 / 8.1, with a combination of coding and DnD. It had much better gameplay and smoother controls, but was still far from a mastepiece. Most features it introduced are still in use.

3-. Mid 2015 - End 2015.
(EyeRun Black and White Remastered).
A remaster of the latter two, made in GameMaker Studio, with the same combination of coding and DnD. All saves from this stage in development were lost. It introduced a few experimental features that were scrapped or lost.

4-. Early 2018 - Now.
(EyeRun Alpha)
The current stage in development. Coded entirely in GameMaker Studio 2. This makes for better gameplay and smoother controls, with a more sophisticated "physics engine". Most sprites have been redesigned. I'm still implementing new features and remaking old ones.

Please note that this game is in no way finished, and may never be. Still, every update will be posted here, and even if it's never completed, this site will represent my progress throughout the years. In the meantime, make sure to play every playable update to get a feeling of this game!

The thing is, it's being remade into a completely different game. The old stuff will be included as some kind of "legacy version" of sorts, idk

Also, I've lost said revamp like 5 times over the last 2 years due to data corruption, HDD failures and a lost usb memory.

So, I've completely scrapped everything bc I wanted the movement to feel natural, introduce slopes and stuff like that, and the old system couldn't handle slopes at all.

EyeRun Alpha (Version 0.5.3). What's new?

-Player launcher (kind of a cannon thingy).
-Jump height is now slightly influenced by speed.
-A few minor fixes.

EyeRun Alpha (Version 0.5.1 / 0.5.2). What's new?

-Dumped DnD.
-New sprites.
-New enemies.
-New "physics engine".
-New weapon selector and 2 more weapons (Shotgun and Chainsaw).
-New UI.
-Improved enemy "IA".
-Tons of bugs fixed.
