danganronpa if it was good.
jk jk, the game IS actually pretty good. a fun adventure-style rpg maker game with some thriller elements thrown in and a cutesy anime style that's a trap for the actual game is all about murder! fun stuff. the location design is neat in that despite most of the school being empty the key points are usually marked in one way or another so that you're never lost, though i still wish there was some optional stuff - perhaps small conversations from the mc, Eve and Lily while they're scouring the place for people. the game also boasts good sound design and some SLEEK transitions - the main menu looks swag and the animation for the beginning of the first semester was NICE.
some other things of note that i've wrote down while playing:
the biblical references are nice, though a bit too on the nose. should've named my guy Adam instead of Arthur xP where's Noah, though? is that the blue haired guy?
the portraits for all of the characters look like children which is probably fitting since they're all school students but still. they make the killing game all the more gruesome, though - it's like lord of the flies but in rpg maker form! :D
there's a shadow tile on the second floor on the left that's clipping into the ceiling. lmao
in the room where someone already took the weapon the mc says "implcations" - missed an "i" there.
i hope to see this game grow and develop, as well as make videos for it for it deserves to be well known. you've put great effort into it, Toya. wish you and the game well :)
So far so good, can't wait to see the rest of the game
Amazing demo, really left me hanging at the end. I'm looking forward to the full version very much. The graphics suit the game. However, for me, the music is a bit loud lol. Good luck on the project!
10 people find themselves in an abandoned school, with only one gruesome way to escape... #fangame #horror #rpg #danganronpa #rpgmaker #murder #mystery #murdermystery #danganronpafangame #fangan
This is a fan game heavily inspired by Danganronpa, by Kazutaka Kodaka. And uses several assets such as music and concepts from it. I am in no way related to Spike Chunsoft.
