Synopsis
In a world where waking life is hollow and unbearable, sleep masquerades as escape but there is none. Dreams only descend into another prison, stranger, deeper, more vivid than this broken existence, where trauma resurfaces without end. And in every shadow, one truth stalks the mind's of the people: he always comes back. He always does.
How can we kill something already dead? The monster has built his machine, a relentless engine. Even if the monster is destroyed, the machine takes it place, returning in another form of mimicry, feeding on what remains. Justice is an illusion, salvation a lie, and the evil endures circling, consuming, never dying. Perhaps the only way to end it is for the world itself to end, for humanity to collapse with it. Better to sleep than endure endless suffering, better to sink into silence than fight a war already lost. In the end, everything will be left to decay.
What is this?
This is a remake of my old game Left to Rust from 2017 now reimagined on a much larger scale than ever before and it will be my last fnaf game.
