How's development going?
Nightmare Nexus is a psychological horror experience where survival depends on awareness, timing… and trusting your instincts.
You play as David, a 17-year-old working the night shift at your brother’s failing restaurant. What starts as a simple security job quickly turns into something far more disturbing. The animatronics aren’t just malfunctioning—they’re watching, learning… and getting closer.
Each night introduces new threats, forcing you to adapt or be overwhelmed.

Monitor the building through a multi-tab security system, manage your limited flashlight power, keep the door locked behind you, and defend your office from multiple threats at once.
Clover – Watch the window. Her shadow appears before she does. Ignore it, and she’ll break through.
Sparky – Listen closely. Only real footsteps signal danger. React fast… or it’s too late.
Dismantled – Keep it in sight, or it escapes. Find its missing piece before it reaches you.
Cherry – The system itself turns against you. Corrupted cameras change the rules. What worked before… might get you killed.
Every mechanic is fair—but unforgiving. Learn the patterns, or become one.

Multi-tab security camera system with dynamic interference
Audio-based gameplay that tests your awareness
Limited flashlight resource with strategic use
Panic-driven mechanics that force quick decision-making
Story-driven logs with voice acting and hidden lore
Custom Night with additional challenges and escalating difficulty

The restaurant was never meant to last.
After your father’s sudden disappearance, ownership of the business passed down to your older brother. What was once a lively place quickly fell into decline—empty tables, failing systems, and animatronics that no longer behaved the way they should.
You were only supposed to help for a week.
Just watch the cameras.
Keep things running.
Make sure nothing gets in.
But something already has.
At first, it feels explainable. Old machines moving at night. Faulty wiring. Glitches in the system. Small things you can ignore if you don’t think about them too hard.
Then the patterns begin to change.
Movements become deliberate.
Sounds don’t match what you see.
The system reacts… like it’s anticipating you.
And the longer you stay, the more it feels like the building itself is watching.
Your brother’s messages grow more unstable with each night. What started as calm instructions slowly turns into hesitation… then fear… then something closer to guilt. There are things he isn’t telling you. Things he can’t bring himself to say.
Fragments of the past begin to surface through corrupted feeds and distorted audio. Pieces that don’t fit together cleanly—but point to something much worse than a simple accident.
The animatronics weren’t designed for this.
One of them wasn’t even part of the original lineup.
And whatever is inside it…
isn’t just reacting.
It’s remembering.
By the time the truth begins to surface, it’s already too late to turn back.
Because this isn’t just about surviving the night anymore.
It’s about understanding what really happened inside that building—
…and whether anything human is still left inside it.

If something stops behaving the way it should…
don’t trust it.
