Strategy gets Rewarded!

The trainer culture of the region is all about battling! Most of the trainers on the islands have been training for many years already, meaning they aren't ready to surrender to you. Teambuilding is heavily rewarded in the region, with a wide variety of different Pokémon all through the first 9 generations of the official Pokémon games available for you to hunt down and catch!

Mix, Mega and Tera!

Battle gimmicks from all generations are making a return! Throughout the campaign, you'll get introduced to an old friend: Terastalization! This gimmick will give you the ability to specialize your team even more and have a lot of interesting fights!

Where do I go after beating the six gyms?

Currently there is nowhere to go after beating the six gyms as this is the end of the current release. In the next release, you can go east of Noisy Neighborhood to progress further.

I want to change my controls. Where can I do this?

To change your controls, simply pause the game and go to the "Controls" tab.

Since the game is made using the RPG Maker XP engine, you could also change your controls via a pop-up menu you get by pressing F1.

You can also change keyboard controls to using the old Pokémon on-screen keyboard if you so desire to. This can be found in the "Options" tab on the pause menu. This could be useful for if you play using a controller.

How do I access the Mystery Gift feature?

To get access to the Mystery Gift feature, you must go to any Pokémart and interact with the paper on the desk. After that, you should save the game and restart the game. Now on the file select screen, you'll have a button for Mystery Gifts. These get updated online, so there is no need to download the latest version of the game to claim any new gift. Mystery Gifts usually get announced on the Gamejolt store page, but for better accuracy on when a Mystery Gift becomes active and is set to leave, you should join the Discord server linked on the store page.

Will my favorite Pokémon be added?

There is already a temporary regional dex in place, so most of the campaign Pokémon have already been decided. There is a chance that later on post-game would introduce even more Pokémon, but don't take it as a promise.

I want to play with a controller, is this possible?

You can play Pokémon Fluxen using a controller, but you'll have to go through some hoops to do so. You'd need to add Pokémon Fluxen as a non-Steam game in your Steam library and then go to Steam Big Picture mode. From here, navigate to Pokémon Fluxen and go to the controller settings on the Fluxen Steam page. Make sure your controller translates its inputs to keyboard controls and then launch the game via Steam Big Picture mode. Now what you want to do is bind your controller inputs to in-game actions. I missed a Mystery Gift, but I really wanted that Pokémon. Can I still find it?

Short answer: Not every Pokémon. There won't be many Mystery Gifts, but when there are some: they can include Pokémon not found in the regional dex. Since the regional dex is quite large, you should still have a lot of options for your team though.
