Summary

Embark toward the world of Nechauria within this single player JRPG adventure, as one of the lost prisoners of the Monster Lord. Enjoy a unique battle system through this choose your own adventure experience, and stay wary of the unknown. Not all is as it seems.

Presentation

Point Origin : Servant of the Monster Lord, is an RPG set in the world of Nechauria. Awaken within the depths of the monster lord's dungeon as Nolwen, a man with no other recollection of who he once was, excepted for his own name. Choose to serve, or to rebel. Enjoy the unique ring battle system of the game, and find yourself immersed within a world on the edge of total war.

However, do be warned. Within universes such as these, unforeseen consequences can be quite common. Should you find yourself lost and afraid, continue on forward. Do not relent, stay silent and always remember: As long as "it" doesn't get in, you should be perfectly safe.

Gameplay and Features

  • Your choices matter. From a world covered in flames to a momentary peace, all hangs on the balance of your decisions. But be warned, not all characters will react the same way to your whispers.

  • Venture across the world in a time and manner of your choosing. The time you'll be given between every major event will be limited, but it'll be yours to do with as you please.

  • From winning fights to losing them, completing quests or failing them, the reputation of your cast of characters will be made. Place your pawns correctly, or risk seeing the situation spiral out of your control.

  • Within the halls where "They" roam, only your wit and speed will save you. Evolve through the treacherous Mainshaft Sealing System by jumping off of it's walls, climbing through it's endless shafts, and most importantly, getting out before "It" gets in.

  • Always remember to keep silence, always mind the creaking that echoes outside these walls. Not all of "them" can see you, but every single one of "them" can hear you. You might not be able to die from falling hundreds of meters down, but the resulting sound from you crashing down will most certainly make you wish you did.

V 0.4.0 - Player Control and Data type Systems update

A hell of my own making, and a deadline hit. I most certainly have gone insane this time around.

I have to say, there is no feeling like finally becoming capable of designing the game of your dreams. It's both strange, beautiful and terrifying at the same time.

Time for an update on how the prototype is going.

Alright my boiz, it's been longer than i had anticipated because a few things happened :

1. I have finished my coding courses.

2. I have been actively working on the Game prototype, and managed to make roughly half of it.

It has now been a little more than two weeks, and I have nothing much to show right now. So far, my courses on Unity are going well, and am learning what I need to learn.

Almost done with the basics, soon moving to more intermediary stuff. More bellow.

We are now nearing the end of March, and I come around with a mixed bag of news.

The Battle System UI is fully finished, and can now be used to render my ideas out, but when it comes to the coding aspect..

I fell sick for an entire week. Even now, I'm barely getting back up. I hate everything, and everyone as well.

While I was unable to work on the prototype for an entire week, I'll soon be back at it.

This will release before the end of march. Period.

I forgot February only has 28 days.
