RAINBOW GENOCIDE

ATTENTION! PLEASE READ BEFORE LAUNCHING!

This is a demo version of my game, which I worked on for two months. It’s my first big project where I applied my skills in animation and programming. I used Construct 2 as the engine, which turned out to be a big mistake.

THE GAME MIGHT NOT LAUNCH!

The PC version may fail to start, so please read the instructions file in the archive. The game might take a long time to load or even crash. Try launching it a couple of times before deleting it.
The HTML5 version runs very slowly and lags. This is due to the engine's poor performance, which couldn’t handle such a heavy load of large images and sprites.

DESCRIPTION OF THE GAME "RAINBOW GENOCIDE"

One day, a scientist invented a speech-detecting collar to communicate with animals. The collar was equipped with artificial intelligence, which led to unforeseen consequences. The animals opened a portal to another dimension and unleashed monsters into their world.

The protagonist is a Dog who doesn’t remember his past. He must destroy the rainbow monsters to cleanse this world of all colorful garbage.

AFTERWORD (FOR DEVELOPERS)

I’d really love to turn this game into a cool Metroidvania or something similar. I already have a fully written script, lore, and game mechanics. But I lack the necessary programming skills. If anyone is willing to help me with this, I’d be very grateful. Ideally, I’d like to gather a team of enthusiasts (with no budget, of course) to bring this to life!
