ALL THIS INFORMATION IS BASED ON THE FIRST BOOK
Book 1 (Shadow): March - 1996
From investigating the shadows to running from them... Jacob and his friends, Miguel and Akuta, join together to investigate the dark past of Rocky's Chicken and Fries. Jacob seems to have unleashed dark energy into the world. A shadow that does not represent an object blocking light... no... it is its own entity.
The Shadow seems to follow Jacob, even during his birthday, and when Jacob and his friends are at Rocky's after hours, the threat seemed to have become even greater. Will they escape? Find out in these bone-chilling novels.

I created this book back when I was in second grade. I created it based on a stupid game of tag that I made with my friends which was based on Five Nights at Freddy's except instead, we called it Five Nights at Rocky's. I first looked at this game and thought "Maybe I could make something out of this." Of course, being a six-year-old, you can't really do much to create a game unless you are extremely smart. I started with designing the characters, drawing them based on other already made characters but I added my little tweak to them. I soon started from scratch where I created my original characters and even a map for the pizzeria, but there was still one problem. I didn't know how to make video games.
By now, I was in fourth grade and I got the idea to write a book about this game. It turned out... okay... and by the old cover, you could tell that I was not the greatest designer. Soon I finished the book and since I had o idea how to publish them I abandoned the entire project.
Three years later, I am in seventh grade and I happen to come across an old Google document called "Five Nights at Rocky's Book". I had been hit with so many memories and I just had to pick this idea up again. I started with the cover... for some reason.. and by looking at the second draft of the cover you can see how much I improved... except for the fact that I used Google images. I mean, you could see the shadow on the cover was Shadow Candy.
I am now picking up this book after another three years and I have to say this was an absolute garbage book so I HAD to remake it. I started from absolute scratch and I created my original cover, my original characters, and my original plot. I am now writing chapter three of the first book. I have to say I am so proud of how far I've come. The destination is not what matters, it's the journey.
