love this game

since theres not a single comment here's my critcs and questions:
1. the game opens from s2 title screen, to s3 data select, to s1 green hill which is just style mixing
2. why is there even a data select? all you do there is press enter which just makes it a filler
3. green hill zone is also a problem, its so overused and doesn't have custom level design
4. endless test zone is just a sort of straight line
5. why does tails question where sonic is when we can see that he followed him?

aight, so

lemme start with the good stuff

the spritework is generally well done, the physics feel great to control, and the animation (for the most part minus a few stragglers) is good

now comes the stuff i have a few issues with

firstly, the grammar, im assuming english isnt your main language, and thats fine, i get it, but i legit dont understand the story because of it, and to me, that knocks it down a bit

secondly, the level design and backgrounds leave much to be desired, i kinda wish the subconscious of sonic used another location or used unique tiles instead, i can understand why it would be green hill, but it still left a lot to be desired

thirdly, some sprites seem to either be incorrectly centered or suddenly switches styles (like the spin dash flipping to the sonic 2 palette instead of staying in the sonic 1 palette)

outside of those problems tho, its a decent demo so far, i just hope that the issues i spoke of here can be addressed to some capacity

keep it up, for a first game, youre on the right track so far
