Here is a little lesson in trickery if you want to get down in history by skipping part 1 entirely and going to part 2 right away:
Step 1: Create a txt file called "_" in the game folder.
Step 2: In the text file, write "[ERRave]
RanJre485=1" (exactly like that)
Step 3: Change the file extension from .txt to .ini
Step 4: Launch Part 2. It works now. Profit.
I can't wait for the full release
Just found out that when you put ... .. -- ..- .-.. .- - .. --- -./-.-. .- ...- . in a morse code translator, you get "SIMULATION CAVE".

You can also use a cheat code that will give you 350 lives and make it easier to complete the game. Type "UIM" on the title screen (or in Data Select for part 2). However, playing the game using this code is not 100% fair. But if you just want to give yourself a better chance of winning, go ahead
Long time no see! I did a lil EoT update for you. It doesn't change much to the game, BUT there are some changes in this that bring it closer to modern NU! Also, this version will appeal to those who thought the original EoT was too hard. MEET EOT V2.5!
