Welcome to Sonic.EXE LongestSoloEver Edition, you may be wondering what this is... this is basically a retake of the original Sonic.exe fangame by MY5TCrimson but a little different...
have you ever heard of the music producer LongestSoloEver? and have you ever heard his Sonic.exe song "Play With Me"?
Welp, this game is intended to be a "playable" version of the song i mentioned above (so i recommend listening to it a couple of times beore playing this game, it will help you understand), since i don't want to spoil too much this is all i say.
there are multiple references to other LSE songs as well (you'll find out while playing), there are three secret levels you can find in the main game, after finding all the secrets an additional level will unlock at the end of the game.

Engine: NotSoSimpleSonicWorlds by AnthoJolter (original by LaKeFeperd), to make this game i used the Sonic 1 Malory Towers Edition engine in order to spare time on the HUDs and other sprites
