What do you think?

just played through the demo and i think it's pretty cool!) it has some nice ideas, i really like the main premise, too; the rits are back and they're as cute as ever and the plot seems to have some intrigue to it - can't wait to see where it goes!)

still though, there are a lot of parts that can be made better - as said by aNobody101 already. i'll add my own two cents as to how to improve the game: firstly, it would've been cool if when Jonnie-boy is asked what his choice of the afterlife is the player was given a choice, too - even if going to the judgement just leads to the title screen/game over, it still would be a nice little detail, i think - the game IS and RPG, after all) next, adding a TP cost value to the Arrow Shot would make it less spammy, and also giving it an actual description instead of the memey stuff that currently occupies the former's position would be nice - it's nice to take a risk sometimes but i still wanna know what the hell my guy's gonna do, hahaha!) next, the bandana item looks nothing like a bandana - i'm sure there's an icon in the xv ace default iconset that would fit the bandana item perfectly - it's more of a nitpick than a suggestion so pardon me for that, but still, better change it!) next, the horde room sucks balls in its current state - i'm not a big fan of random encounters and getting thrown into one every third step is slowly, but surely driving me into a vehement, murderous fit))))) a better way to make it would be is to make the encounter step ratio the same as normal rooms but make it so that the troops in the room have double the usual amount of enemies or even thrice so - it would make it really dreaded for players upon first visiting but if they decide to come back later to it then it'll serve as an exp farming room!) i liked the bit with the chest, though - do you risk getting bodied my bone slimes to get that item or do you just rush to the exit? i personally chose the former)

I played through the game. I like the concept of the trials but some parts didn't make sense. For example, for a place where so many have died, you would think the floors would much more gory than just, well, a scant few shields and swords here and there. Speaking of which, why can't we pick up these items? A description saying, "the items are too old/rusty to use" would have fixed this. As for the floors themselves, while there are monsters that do try and kill ya, they really aren't that hard to kill. You can spam the one special you have. Further more, the unguarded switch, no traps, and shopkeeper who sells items for generous prices damages the believablitiy. If the trial of resurrection was this easy, then I guess dying in the world of Copy's Quest ain't that bad, eh? Anyway, the game was okay and I hope you continue developing!

The trials of fate: A copys quest story

My second game ever, and slightly better then copys quest.

Take the role of Johnathan in the afterlife as well as the new party member Charles.
