As your competition, I hate to admit it, but I think you're gonna win. Not only does this game match the browsers aesthetic as a whole, but it is also quite atmospheric due to the lack of soundtrack. Throw in the amazing art and unique mechanics... wow

Collect stars with your tractor beam in order to increase your WiFi's strength! But look out for the hurdling asteroids that could damage your ship!

This is my entry for the Opera GX Game Jam! The challenge was to create a game for the 'No Internet' page in the Opera GX browser based on the theme: UFO using GameMaker Studio 2!

We wanted it to be simple, yet still a bit better than Chrome's dinosaur game. Just like how Opera GX tops Google Chrome in both design and use, we wanted to convey that in this game. Same idea, cooler visuals, and a tiny bit more complex gameplay.

Right down to the sprites, our game was designed to fit within Opera GX's theme, and is completely open to the possibility of customization in the future.

Also, the UFO's tractor beam was designed to look like a WiFi logo. This way, whenever people see the WiFi logo, they'll think of Opera GX's UFO!
