As time passes and humans have lost their magical spark, a child has decided that they must rekindle this flame and retrieve their lost history. They gather what knowledge they can about monsters and venture into the unknown. With their trusty survival guide, barely fitted glasses, and patchy satchel in toe, they head up to Mt. Ebott. Even with the dangers along the way, no matter how hard things get, they must...

With the release of Undertale Yellow, many people were ecstatic to see such a masterpiece arise among the dust. Some have been changed by the lessons held inside similar to Undertale, and I was one of those people. Seeing a group create a story from the tiny details of a larger game inspired me to explore game development once again. When I had prior I couldn't keep up with the languages and needed to drop it. With this motive, I'm sure that I can succeed at this monumental task. I also have motivation stemming from some influencers who brought light about the engine Game Maker Studios and as I watched I was curious about how simple it was made to be. After Learning how one of my favorite games came from a free engine and how several other tales were simply waiting to be created, I knew I could see it through, I knew I could: Persevere

When it comes to learning any new skill, people start slow and build up their experience, in which I'm attempting to build every time I boot up Game Maker Studios. So far it's been successful and I've seen growth with every change, but sadly this also can be halted/hindered. As anyone should know, life can change many things and slow anyone down. This is no different with this game. As of right now, I have been tackling college, and with this project being so large it required a lot of time to learn the skills needed. With no time I currently cannot get too much moving which is somewhat painful to see every day, but every bad must have some good. Once these current classes finish I know I can get something worthwhile on display. In the end, I am aware this will not be a quick endeavor and will take time to get everything right. Even with this hindered pace, I haven't seen my motivation for this game's future waver. People may want to keep tabs on me, the people helping me, or the game itself so...

I've made ways to connect with the community:

discord - mainly where I'm communicating with people or having fun with friends

Email - a more serious method of communication to divide bigger life choices and fun activities

[email protected] - email written out

(Twitter may come in the future)

As anyone could expect, development is a team effort (unless you're a dog that accidentally coded a game), and as such working together is key to keeping everything moving. This grows difficult when the team size is small. So I extend my hand to the community and ask that anyone who has some skills related to art, music, storytelling, or coding and is willing to work on a fresh project for the foreseeable years, reach out to me either by email or discord DMs and see how well you fit into the cogs of this machine. Even if we lose the race for the Purple place, I've already got plans for another possible game as I refuse to let the skills I've gained/will gain go to waste.
