The Story
WHO ARE YOU? follows Amias, a 20-something young man, after he begins having recurring dreams about his deceased father.
It's been years since his father passed away, years since he's talked to his family about it, and years since he's returned home. When the dreams persist, though, he doesn't see an option other than to visit his mother and begin digging through old memories he's long since left behind.
The Experience
WHO ARE YOU? was originally developed in a month for the official 2025 RPG Maker Game Jam with the theme "Beyond Expectations." Though a last-minute bug kept it from being submitted, the premise and progression has remained largely unchanged from the original vision. This means the story is fairly linear and can be experienced fully in under an hour.
This is a narrative-heavy experience. There are no game overs, no battles, and no mind-bending puzzles. Anybody who wants to enjoy this story can without caveats. Anybody who doesn't should understand very quickly what kind of game this is and bow out early on.
