Welcome to the Alma Mater Devlog!

Updates on the games progress and more will be posted here, please remember this is a one man team consisting of just myself, so development may be slower than most games.

What is Alma Mater?

Alma Mater is a short pixel style horror game, in which a strange group of students at your school seem to be up to something, something not so good.
Upon returning to class from a bathroom break, something doesn't seem... right.

Use the few tools you can find around the school to make an escape, or put an end to this nightmare once and for all.

When will it be released?

No release date is currently planned, as this is a solo project of mine and putting deadlines would ultimately lead to too much stress and likely put me off of the game.

What can you expect from the game when it is finished?

As I said before, this is a one man team, however if any help is gathered to work on it, I will be updating this accordingly. I have never finished a project like this before, and I've always planned too big without difficulty in mind. This is my first full game, And I really don't want to let people down this time. I have always wanted to make something cool, and this time, I think I have all the right ingredients to make something I can finish, and hopefully provide an enjoyable experience for others. I cannot estimate a playtime, but I do not expect it to be long. As for the scares, I think I've got something good in store, but for my first game, I do not want to promise intense gameplay or frights, ultimately this is just designed to be a fun little game for me to try out game making myself, and something that might hopefully surprise a few people :)

Sorry for the lack of updates!
Alma Mater, Being my first game, had SUPER unorganised coding.

I kept putting it off, but I have officially began recoding all of the game so far.
To apologise for the slowdown, here is a peek at what is to come.

All enemies' (as of planned) AI have been fully completed!
Things will be tweaked here and there, as well as a few bug fixes, but all planned enemies are now fully coded and ready to be added!
