Nice game

A short and sweet experience, it's nice. But, there isn't much gameplay in it, which is something I'm not really a big fan of. I'm just gonna separate each part so I can review them one by one. I don't know much about Bomberman's characters and enemies so I might call some of them just by their looks.

STAGE 1

It's just regular old Bomberman. Well, kind of. I'd personally keep additional elements from the NES version, like the stage details and the bricks, but other than that, it's Bomberman. There are a few things that I'm not a big fan of, like the balloon enemy AI not being quite like the original, the sound of the bombs being distorted (which might've been intentional, but I digress), and the balloon enemies shaking when they're stuck, like in Bomberman or the bombs, not damaging the former. The section ends off with what would've been Stage 2 if the water dumpling enemy didn't splatter.

STAGE 2

This is pretty much a waiting game, so this is the lowest stage for me. I think you have to dodge the red silhouette when it appears, but it's kind of easy to dodge it. There's not much to this section. It ends when the timer reaches zero (which starts off at two hundred and counts down by seconds, which means you have to wait three minutes and twenty seconds).

STAGE 3

All of this is one big cutscene. TL;DR, Bomberman explodes and you get jumpscared. It closes the game after that, but we're not done yet, kind of.

STAGE 4

When you boot up the game again, BOMBKILLER exclaims "pirates must perish" before Notepad opens up, revealing that we might be playing as Jimmy from the text file somewhere in 2019. Not much... again. And we're done.

I'll have to give the game 6/10 due to its sluggish gameplay, bugs, and lack of content later in the game. It's good, but I at least hope any next games are better or the game is remade with new content and fixes, similar to Sonic PC.
