It's that one game with the beavers in the forest that was deemed to be scary by many, but now it's back in this brand new DELUXE edition!
This is an unofficial port of Chipper and Sons Lumber Co. by Scott Cawthon. I have decompiled and re-built it to make it more optimized for modern machines and devices.
Featuring the following:
Brand new keyboard controls for PC users. You can now move with the A and D keys. Full keyboard controls have also been added to the mini-games. For Android users, the touch controls have been kept the same.
Game settings have been added to the game. Full screen, V-Sync, aspect ratio, and even vibration (Android only).
You can now toggle on and off the upgrades that you purchase from Tinker's shop.
Restored all unused sprites left out from the original game.
Added a wavy effect on the underwater scene with the whales which you can also toggle on or off on the options menu.
Made some other minor quality of life improvements to make the gameplay experience a much smoother one. Game now runs at 60 fps and on Direct 11.
This port was made for fun, and is also dedicated to Scott Cawthon and as a way to say thank you for so many amazing years that you've given us. Please support Scott by also following his original version of the game here on Game Jolt.
NOTE: If you have played the original version from Game Jolt, your save files will still work as intended. If you're on Android and have played the original version, the save files won't work on this new port, so expect to start a new game for that. If you're still having trouble with the saves on PC, just make sure to rename the .ini files to "chipper1", "chipper2", and "chipper3" respectively. The other "chipper" .ini is the settings file, so don't touch that one.
No extra steps needed to play this new port, just open up the .exe on your PC. Just make sure the .dat file and the "Modules" folder are on the same location as the .exe, otherwise the game won't open. I had to unpack the .exe as a way for the game to avoid getting a false virus detection.
On Android however, you may need to uninstall the original version as it won't update over to the new one.
