Crimes Against Slimes is a game where fight against the never-ending slime hordes, gain upgrades as you level up, and do whatever you can to survive as long as you can.
Crimes Against Slimes is a survival game where all you can do is run away and shoot the enemies that constantly hunt you down. At first, the slime horde might seem unbeatable but the stronger you get the more you formidable an opponent you become!
Demo includes:
- Four waves of enemies.
- One boss encounter.
- Upgrade system to power up as you level.
- Achievement system to keep track of how you've done.
- High Score/Best Time system.
- One initial class. One unlockable class.
- Full controller/keyboard support, including user-rebindable controls. (You have to select which kind of controller you're using, but that is purely for cosmetic reasons.)
- The equivalent of the L1/LB button is an extra "Accept" button so the game can be played entirely one-handed!
- Text in English, Japanese, and Brazilian Portuguese.
- Available for Windows, Linux, and Android.

Note: There is no end state to the game. Once you run into the final wave of enemies, they will just spawn infinitely. You can, however, continue to collect achievements and get higher best times and high scores.
The Max Level is 26. You stop gaining EXP after that.
Update 1 (11/22/24):
- Made Lightning SFX actually change with the SFX Volume bus.
- Made Armor upgrades actually upgrade armor (previously upgraded speed instead, oops!)
- Added one extra level for Armor Up, Speed Up, and Crit Rate Up.
- Made red and purple slimes spawn earlier. Increased damage and health for each.
- Removed "DEBUG" from the Window title.
Update 2 (11/23/24):
-Â Added an infinitely scrolling background to make the floor look prettier. (Thanks to Jessica Starr for making the background).
Update 3 (11/24/24)
- Made the Status Screen pop up when you pause, since basically no one uses the Status Screen on their own.
- Got rid of everything in the background having to deal with popping up the status screen on its own. Got rid of everything in the controls that mentioned the status screen.
- Added right stick movement and R1 as "Accept" for one hand play with your right hand.
Update 4 (12/6/24):
- Made Sugar Rush icon bigger. Doubled buff time from 15s to 30s.
- Made enemies drop coins. Added coin counter. Game saves amount of coins between runs.
- Added Coin Magnet upgrade to increase coin pickup radius.
- Added "Soul of Gunner" and "Soul of Wizard" upgrades to give each class the other's weapon.
- Made various balancing adjustments to mobs and upgrades.
Known Issues:
- Trees do not have collision. This is due to them being placed in the parallax layer with the snow. This will be dealt with in the future.
- There is no way to spend coins. Yet.
​- Portuguese translation needs to be updated.
