Awsome Game! Really, good work

Deity is a Horror game made by BLACKPEN industries.

Copyright Dante Nardo 2013 All Rights Reserved.

You wake up in a dark room... You proceed down a hallway when a voice calls out to you... "Come closer..." You obey, perceiving the local Deity that you and your family were sacrificed to. He dissapears, leaving more questions than answers. You have no choice, but to go on into the Labyrinth...

Game Mechanics:

You have a lantern (possibly going to add a flashlight) that loses light progressively, but can be filled back up with oil, and as you lose light your screen receives more and more static.

Every playthrough is different. I'm not done with the exact number yet, but lets say there are 30 possible events scattered throughout the labyrinth. If you do event 7 first, then events 13, 19, and 28, may no longer be available to you. Your story will be different each time, and there are also multiple endings along with playthroughs.

Key level design. I have handcrafted the levels for specific reasons as you get deeper and deeper into the labyrinth. At first, there are many paths, designed to confuse your direction and lead you to different parts of the labyrinth. This kind of specific level design adds a whole new layer to the gameplay.

8 Bit. All of the sprites, textures, and backgrounds are 8 Bit. This was a stylistic along with graphical choice, since I wanted to do an 8 Bit game and have everyone be able to run it.

The Display is yours. The game will always be fullscreen, I apologize beforehand for those that want windowed, because a horror game needs you to be focused for it to have any effect upon you.

Orchestral Music. One of the key aspects of any horror game, my music is my own, and perfectly suited to the mood of the scene. In the near future I will upload some sample songs via links to youtube.

And as for my last thought, feedback. What would you like in the game? What do you dislike about anything I have said? Do you think certain aspects could be improved? I can handle any constructive criticism you can give me.
