What do you think?

I think I got really far in it. There can't have been much more, but while I was searching for whatever I was missing, was killed and the password, while it brought me back to the garden with a tree already sprouted (a different tree than originally I grew), reset almost everything else in the whole game, and so I abandoned it for now rather than go through all of that again.

Even though--or perhaps because--you've committed nearly every conceivable adventure game sin, massive congratulations are in order for creating a SPECTACULAR game. I can't believe I made it through without a walkthrough (took a screenshot the map, poked it into MS Paint, labelled the rooms, drew green lines for paths between rooms, and kept alt-tabbing back and forth between it and the game). I mean it, this is a piece of art, freaky and unhinging and beautiful. To anyone reading this, stick it out--the end is totally worth it. All of the end. The credits and what comes after...! Kudos, everyone involved!!!

Gaaaah I finished it you jerks! Took me a while to have the energy to map it which is why I didn't get to it until now.

I can't say it wasn't frustrating, but I didn't *hate* playing it. It was a challenge, and interesting on a design level too. I've been wondering for a while if there'll be a resurgence of "hard-core" adventure games like there has been with hard-core platformers, and things like dark-souls. I guess you can say you've made the "dark-souls of point and clicks". So... well done? I guess?

Usually I feel bad telling people I got stuck and couldn't work things out, but this time I suppose it's a complement. Except that I didn't get stuck! Ha! Your puzzles were well balanced and fair! So there!

I *did* cheat right at the end tbh and peeked at the walkthrough so I didn't have to...

...go back and write down all the damn motivational posters.

I also just lucked out on the robot menu puzzle I guess, because booze.

I assumed there'd be more walking deads too so i was terrified of using the single save slot, so even though I didn't get into any, I didn't use all my tokens. And did lose progress a bunch of times. So thanks.

Also, you did get a fair few chuckles out of me, and I love that your community comes through in these games too.

All in all, I think every adventure game developer should have to play this before they're allowed to release a game! bahaha! Great stuff!

This is hilarious so far. Only got as far as exploring one half of the labyrinth but loving it!

v1.1.0 is a major update! Lots of fixes, but most importantly:

The password system is out!

In its place is a much more elegant and sophisticated bookmark system, inspired by King's Quest 7. You're welcome.

v1.0.9 fixes a new bug where Gary would sometimes corner you with no means of escape if you came out of a non-maze room.

Also I doublechecked that this version doesn't skip the intro ;)

There's got to be some sort of award for pulling the same dumbass move TWICE... v1.0.8 started you inside the maze and bypassed the title screen AGAIN. I didn't bother making a new version; just reuploaded v1.0.8 with that fixed. Enjoy! Good god...

v1.0.8 fixes bugs that, embarrassingly, were uncovered while I was streaming the game... including Gary not showing up AT ALL!
