Inspired by the game 'Emily Wants to Play'. This is basically a short experimental game.

Be careful of what lurks within the storage of your house, as unforseen circumstances may cause these inanimate objects to become cursed.

INSTRUCTIONS TO NOTE:

To prevent any attacks by enemies in the game, please read, understand, and follow the instructions below carefully.

THE DUMMY

The Maskman or the Dummy is one of the antagonists encountered within Forsaken Memories. When the player enters the room where the Dummy is present, he/she will have to get out of the room immediately within 8 seconds; otherwise, they will encounter a jump scare attack by the Maskman.

The Maskman symbolises his desire to hide his feelings of depression and sadness after the passing of his loved ones, and the Dummy signifies the falsehood of his life in pretending to be living in a house alone.

THE DOLL

The Doll is the secondary antagonist encountered later in the game. The Doll is an action figure of an angel character. When the player sees the Doll and hears a giggle, he/she have to immediately stop moving around until the Doll disappears.

The Doll is an action figure that was given by Jake to his eldest Daughter. The Doll signifies the forgotten fragments of the memories.

JACK-IN-THE-BOX

The Jack in the Box is the tertiary antagonist in the game. Jack in the Box usually appears in bathrooms and a distinct pop-goes-the-weasel song is played. When the player encounters this, he/she must not leave the room they are currently in, and should stay until the song ends and the box disappears.

The Jack-in-the-Box is a toy bought by Jake for his stillborn child. When miscarriage occured to his Wife, the stillborn child was cremated, and the toy was placed at the cemetery. However, as the cemetery needs to be shifted, the toy was retrieved by Jake and placed in the storeroom.
