JustCorp Games is proud to present FIGHTER-SPACE II, the sequel to a game that was never published, and the newest addition to the 'FIGHTER' franchise.
A real-time, local-multiplayer, top-down, arena, space-shooter game.
With a max of 8 players and complete Xbox 360 Controller support, you can battle your friends with 6 different kinds of spaceships, each with their own playing style and strategy. Up to 8 teams sorted by colors allows you to choose who can work with who in epic co-op gameplay. Complete in-game documentation allows to you see statistics for every ship and all of their abilities, and shows controls setups to help you learn how to play.
Browser Build Notes:
The game may take a minute or two to load before starting.
The browser build does not support controller vibrations or Discord Rich Presence.
If you wish to only sample the game, the browser build will work. But if you want the full experience, we suggest you download a standalone version for your computer.
HOW TO PLAY:
To adjust audio or graphics settings, click on Options in the Main Menu and select either Audio Options or Graphics Options.
To see the controls for Keyboard or Xbox 360 Controllers, go to the Options Menu, then to the Information Menu, and then to Controls. You may notice that there is a Keyboard 2 setup and an Alt. Keyboard 2 setup. The default Keyboard 2 setup uses the keyboard numpad, so if your keyboard does not have a numpad, you will have to use Alt. Keyboard 2.
Also in the Information Menu you can access documentation for each ship, their stats, and also all the abilities in the game with descriptions and advice for using them.
To start a game, click Play on the Main Menu. In the Setup Menu you can join the setup list by pressing the start key on your input device of choice (to see what the start key is for each input setup, go to the Controls Menu mentioned previously). Once you join, you can change your ship by pressing left or right and change your team color by pressing up or down. To see the stats for each ship, go to the Ship Information Display in the Information Menu.
Also in the Setup Menu you can adjust options for your game, including map size, number of asteroids in the map, and number of rounds in your game.
Each ship has health, ammo, and three abilities. Your health and ammo are displayed on the side bars, as well as your ship, your player number, and your team color. To see what display box is yours, hold the info key (see the Controls Menu), which will also show you where you are on the map and what direction you are facing (in case the camera is zoomed out). The abilities are different for each ship and can be used in cool combos. Information on each ability can be found in the Ability Info Display in the Information Menu. Each ship also has different moving and turning speeds.
After gaining experience with each ship, you will learn complex playing strategies for each. Each ship is designed to be different yet equal, so if you believe any one ship is better than another, please tell the developers so they can adjust statistics to equalize them (Note: just because someone is better at playing one ship than another does not make the ships unequal - it's just that the player's ability to use each ship is unequal).
Each round of the game will last until there is only one team left in the map. The game will continue until you are done with all your rounds (or if you chose infinite rounds, it will continue until you quit). At the end of each round the game statistics will be display, which shows scores by player and scores by team. Hold start to begin the next round.
To access the Pause Menu press your Start or Back button. The Pause Menu has all the same options as the pre-game menus, with the exception of the Information Menu.
Please enjoy and tell us what you think!
