I had no one else to talk about this topic, so i'l start.

There was a pattern in the early years 2010-2020 of Angst Tales about Tails dying, or suffering.

I've had an experience to notice those videos in my early bird years, and they come of as nostalgic when I come across them now.

Sonic Epilogue. (Staged in the SatAM universe. Saturday Morning.) pulls on those strings, when your childhood buddy Sonic, turns on you and your friends, and you have no other choice but to lethally stab him, or be choked out to death by his hand. (Although, where Tails was hiding that huge knife?) Then meeting him, near his grave before plundering next on what to do.

Tails' Ghost. Not really know about it much, but Tails dies to an shraphnel embedding him in his chest, while Sonic weakfully watches while laying on the ground before passing out. Then wakes up all patched up and bruised looking for him, not remembering what just happened, before the realization kicks in that he just died on that day. He would later go on to his grave, while the heavy rain is in the background.

Where Was My Hero...? Tails never meets Sonic, which opts him to be bullied to the point of going Cold Rogue Anti-Hero, then in the end of his story gets killed by being stabbed with his own invention by Sonic, he woud later admit that it could have been much better if he met Sonic earlier, as his Sidekick. Sonic just says that he would have been a part of his family, rather than a sidekick before noticing that he cries a river of tears, before thanking Sonic for those words and dying. It ends like that, with no grave at the end.
