Weird yet interesting game, it seemed bugy at first but after closing and opening again I was able to move with the little you. Really liked the white space. Footsteps are a bit loud.
We also created a game for the jam if you want to take a look. Is called "Zeqecu: Machinaria Files"
Cheers!
Weird little game and I agree, very artsy. At one point when the music set in it was almost like a march or dance, that was a nice moment.
All I know is I haven't played anything like this before.
I started off a little frustrated, since I couldn't move (or even think?) because of the control He had over me. But when I started to think about it I started to appreciate the project more... In many ways its almost like an art project. I feel the concept is more important than the gameplay.
And in that regards I think it really manages to do something different. It's original and its completely own thing. I think that's an impressive feat!
Original concept, I just wish there was more non-meta narrative behind it so it would make the game more memorable.
In its state, it's a nice little experiment but I'm sure it has a potential for more.
Talking and walking is fun, right? Especially when there's a dude making references, breaking 4th wall and very next to you.
Start a way of adventure with a "stranger" and choose your response.
Oh, and there are lots of easter eggs :)
