The Quest of Jimmy The Nerd

Jimmy The Nerd is a Horror-Comedy RPG about a man ripped from his own time, and forced to face his own loves and fears to get back home.

Jimmy the Nerd will use hybrid gameply.
Tactical turn-based combat with the emphasis on skills and spells, with a dungeon crawler feel. IE, lots of fights. Since some people enjoy the battles, but others feel they are "grind", you will be able to select "less grind" as a difficulty, so you can level up quicker.

The story and exploration of an RPG.

1. Play as Jimmy The Nerd as he explores a strange world, looking for his friends and a way home.

2. A feature rich combat system.

3. Choices that affect your progression through the game. Along with a sanity system.

4. A game landscape based on horror movies. (see the story)

5. Several Characters who can either specialize or multi-role. Depending on your needs.

6. Enemies (except boss types) will randomly spawn. Not only with different types of enemies, but also different ranks. There are 9 total enemy ranks. Each with a color coded HP bar for identification in battle.

7. Artifact Cards that give unique abilities. Some will be essential to solving puzzles. Some will allow you to get into areas you couldn't before.

8. An assortment of fun magick collectibles to hunt down.

Jimmy is a WeTelly video producer, and he's at a convention in Lost Vegas. The same convention Jack Hoth won his award at. While kicking back in his hotel room Jimmy hears a knock at the door, but when he answers... no one is there. He feels a strange sensation, and passes out.

When he wakes he is no longer outside his room. In fact, he is no longer in his hotel. A mysterious stranger appears to tell him the awful truth. He has been brought to the future by powerful magick of unknown origin, and is being kept there by the same power.
Even worse, he is trapped in a part of the land where ancient magicks will draw on his own loves and fears to terrorize and destroy him. And the only thing Jimmy loves more than video games... is horror movies.
