Normally released on May 31, 2024, the fan game "Kiddy Kong's Challenge" is a Donkey Kong Country-style fan game, but it also makes it a solo game for Kiddy Kong.
Story:
K. Rool is angrier and smarter than ever! He takes advantage of the absence of some important members of the Kong family and stealthily kidnaps Donkey Kong. Upon noticing his grandson's absence, Cranky Kong tries to call back the Kongs who are on vacation, but to no avail. With that, Kiddy Kong (who was with Cranky) leaves his house and goes to K. Rool's "mysterious island." Cranky accompanies him to help him. This adventure promises not to be one of the easiest.
This fan game took 2 years (starting in 2022) of development due to busy schedules in my life. Having a second development in early 2024 to add a "second game", thus compensating for all the waiting time. To get it, you need to collect all DK Coins in the first game. And don't forget to save! To save your progress press pause (during the game) and backspace. The game will restart, but it will save the level you stopped at.
This game is a beautiful homage to the classic Donkey Kong Country. Everything was well crafted to capture the same atmosphere that Rare had in the 90s when they created the trilogy. I would also like to thank Edu "Buiu" Alves (from Donkey Kong Country 4) who worked with me on the game's graphics and the "Ni" logo for "Nimaginendo Games".
BEFORE PLAYING:
Before playing, I want to warn you that this fan game is for those who like a challenge and the Donkey Kong Country trilogy (mainly who likes the 2 and 3). Because it is a challenge, it results in a slightly higher difficulty than the classic games, but the more you practice, the more you will advance. But no, it's not a kaizo! It's just a difficult game.
I recommend that you have a good graphics (card) and sound processor on your PC so that the game runs perfectly.
And the game is full of secrets. Be wary of every location and scenario in the game, as there may be something hidden. In addition to this, there are also minigames!! Will you be able to find them?

Some controls are different because it's something I haven't been able to resolve yet, but it's easy to get used to.
