Legend of the Blades

This game isn't currently being developed and is unfinished. I'll pick development back up on it at some point in the future.

Legend of the Blades is a #retro 3/4 perspective #action game with light #rpg elements. You must travel the land and defeat the four knights who each wield a sword of elemental power - Rock, Crystal, Sun and Moon. After each knight has been defeated, acquire his/her sword and use it to make progress in the land of Lowendel. Crush your enemies with the mighty Rock Smasher or cast blades of mystical magic to vanquish foes from a distance with the Sword of Moonlight. Learn some of the details of each knight's past and defeat the villain that they could not beat, the Black Knight.

How to play:
Directional keys - Moves the character
Z - Swing your sword
X - Read a nearby object, such as a runestone or a stone tablet
A, S - Switch your sword (if at least one sword has been collected)
Enter/Z - Make a selection on a menu

Setup instructions:

Windows 32/64 bit - Download the appropriate package and run the exe.

Mac OS-X - For the time being, the Mac OS-X build is just the .love file. You'll need to download the appropriate package from https://love2d.org/ and follow the instructions at https://love2d.org/wiki/Game_Distribution for Mac OS-X distribution. In the future, an executable version will be provided.

Linux - The Linux version just has the .love file. You'll need to download the appropriate package from https://love2d.org/ and follow the instructions at https://love2d.org/wiki/Game_Distribution for Linux distribution.
