The light effect and how it is used for navigation AND defense are great! Would you consider leaving some batteries around to cut the charge-up wait time?
I consider myself not a scaredy-cat kind of person, but dear god, this is the most thrilling low-rez game I've ever played, wow. I think this is because you could easily think this is a game about helping the poor dude to get out of the creepy dark building and then boo, a zombie. And then more zombies. And another part that scares you really bad is "DAMNIT THEY ARE CHASING ME OH NONONONONO I'M GONNA DIE oh, ok, i found the stairwell, everything's okay. phew". Anyway, thank you for all the pleasantly worrying feelings :)

Neat little game, but it appears to get stuck on the map at the 5th level. Or is that just the end?
Very fun little game! That pixely thunder noise kept me on my feet! I did start to get bored but then I met a new monster and got a little more excited, overall, great game!

Try to escape after the power goes out. Reach the stairwell to finish the level.
Use WASD or Arrow Keys to move.
Use mouse to move the flashlight.
Left Click to turn on Bright mode. Bright mode drains the battery.
