Yes!! I loved The Other Phalanx, and I've been wanting to play it again. Glad you reuploaded it after YoyoGames Sandbox shut down!
A brave anthology! Actually, there's some interesting looking stuff here...
I wasn't always good at making video games. ...then again, was anyone always good at it?
Anyway, these are some of my older games. Some of them ended up on sandbox.yoyogames.com, explaining the YoYo Games logo in some of them. Others, I just never released because they were my first projects. ...and some of them I just couldn't finish.
So, why am I delivering these things? To prove that I am a human, and that every game designer has their start. So, don't feel so bad if you couldn't make games as awesome as mine. I was lousy, too.
Oh, and you'll probably need Game Maker to run everything that's not an exe. In other words, you can run any game with a fancy icon, but maybe not the .gmk's or .gm81's.
Here's a list of the games:
ARPG.gmk- Before I made Dragonian, I made this little thing. It's unfinished.
Attack of the Cybosaurs- A beat-em-up full of ham.
Harry Potter Megafied- I admit, I made this. ...and shoot the blasted candles, for crying out loud!
Lazer Zone- I'm sure a real Atari 2600 could produce a game like this.
Midgies- Just play around with the mouse, and see what happens.
Destroy the Orbheads DX- um... just destroy the orbheads.
The Other Phalanx- Does anyone remember the SNES version of Phalanx's boxart? I did. I thought THIS was the game I was getting. Trust me, this is the best game in the collection.
Pig Out- Unfinished, and essentially a platform gaming version of Katamari.
Shiro Ninja- The first released game on sandbox.yoyogames.com. In case you haven't noticed, Shiro Ninja Mayhem's available on GameJolt, too. (please don't delete me)
BattleSkate- An early work. Play at your own risk.
STAFF OF LARIA- The one and only. ...and absolutely unfinished.
Soul Ninja- Or, as I call it, Ye Olde Shiro Ninja. It's the game that led to the Shiro Ninja series.
Star Trek II for Atari- What if somebody made a licensed game based on The Wrath of Khan back in the day? You'd probably get this.
Super Starton- My FIRST, FIRST completed game. Can you handle it?
Tracey Take Back- Collect stuff in this Donkey Kong-meets-Pac-Man hybrid.
TubeShooter.gmk- You know, for those who want certain bits of source code.
White Ninja: Shiro Ninja II- Actually, Shiro Ninja's a remake of THIS game.
WorldBound.exe- It's not complete, but it's got a random dungeon generator.
XSF Force- I didn't want to complete the shooting-est shoot-em-up.
