Pale Nikki is an virtual art-exhibition where you walk through melancholically bleak city environments while viewing beautiful pixelart and unforgettable, wistful imagery. The whole game is set on the same, large open-world.
I have developed the game with good graphics in mind, using my unorthodox photoshop-pixelart. Everything in it has been polished to extremely high quality , with advanced visual effects and thought-out, minimalistic presentation.
It has an unique artstyle, graphics and tone that you will just have to experience for yourself.
Sorry for not "releasing" Pale Nikki. This devlog was just a friendly sham to get more people to play this game, and I'm thankful for everyone who played it this way.

I'm about to release the version 0.5 next, since I'm about that way in development. The final version will be released about a month and a half from now.

I've released the version 0.20. It has Reshade and more gameplay content.
I'm adjusting the amount of HDR, so it leaves things more visible (At least I hope so).
This image is an example of what I'm trying to fix.
