Really great cozy vibes from this game demo! It was even raining when I played it which felt immersive haha. If you don't know what to expect, I don't want to spoil much, but basically it's a story driven game where the main character suddenly stumbles upon the empty white void, breaking their daily routine. Fun dialogue and interaction with the world with the items you find, and nice character work so far! Great art and presentation, looking forward to seeing more!

really cool, it took me quite awhile to get into it for me, but when I did finally get into it, it felt really good.

writing is done super well, the characters feel unique and fun.

gameplay is okay, not really for me but that's okay

my big problem with this game mostly is that it had trouble hooking me into the story. The beggining feels rough and slow for me, and it felt like i had to force myself to just think "it's going to get more interesting soon" (which it did, but it took a bit to get to that point)

can't wait for the final product, i can already see you becoming a big shot in the near future.

I got stuck at the very start, i got the plushie, the rope, and the scissors, now i am COMPLETELY confused what to do next, i have interacted with everything THRICE and dont know wth to do...can ANYONE help me?

I like what's being setup a lot with the demo so far. The game has that comfy vibe to it and cute art, but also definitely has a message and heart it wants to communicate. As someone who is very often reliant on daily routines, it was a decently relatable experience that the game seems intent on exploring. Very cool game.

in the year 1865 a russian man named Petr I(van) Chornev was living a perfectly normal life as a farmer until one day his entire village vanished into a white void forcing him into an adventure

the inspiration for the game came from his last diary entry "i smell rain but there is no sky"

Boom bap badabap pow, no progress on longer prologue sequence but I made huge progress elsewhere!!

I estimate demo release in 2 to 4 weeks now!

You can thank eurobeat music for that (was listening to it while doing a tonnn of stuff)

Longer prologue sequence is 83% done! Can now be played in full, with only a few missing sprites/visuals.

I estimate the demo could be ready in 4 to 5 weeks, though it could change massively.

Longer prologue sequence is about 40% done! I think I over-estimated how difficult the extra sprites and coding would be. Writing was by far the hardest part

Update: Testing sessions have revealed several glaring issues that need fixed, most notably the game needs a longer prologue, and various gameplay improvements.

But nothing existing is being removed!

3-5 weeks will be added to development time for these.

Beta testing begins for the first demo release

Puzzle/item progress, some quality of life stuff, even MORE details added to area 1's decoration. First demo is 96% content complete, 8 items left on the to do list!
