What do you think?

we're checking the CPU with this one!!

demo gives pretty cool impressions. I do think there is kind of a disconnect with the aesthetic of the Office and the cameras regarding lighting & contrast that really prevents the animatronics from looking that threatening. But I think those things can be fixed in-post, I can show examples if you need. But overall, I still really enjoyed the aesthetic & disorienting nature of this game.

Regarding gameplay, I think there should be something to teach the utility of the CPU sig and I feel like it should be a mechanic universally applied. I think like if the animatronics are in the corners of the camera or even behind each other would be a great opportunity to use it like that. There should be also be more of an incentive to use the camera si since you could just monitor their presence in the doors with the ghost detector.

I'm completely sold on the aesthetic you're trying to do and gameplay is decent, but can be cheesed. I think there is room to make it more skill-oriented & increase the utility of the current mechanics.

Beat the demo. Really love the vibe and aesthetic of this game. Interested to see where it goes.

Currently, there isn't much incentive to use any cameras (other than Foxy's to hold the music button). The ghost detector gives you all the information you need on Bonnie and Chica, which makes it very easy, although I really like the mechanic conceptually. I assume this simplicity will change with Freddy, and/or any other characters that are introduced later. Similarly, I'm guessing the viewfinder will have more of a purpose in later nights, as I can't currently see a use for it.

I have beaten the demo. It's very nicely put together. It definitely feels like a faithful fnaf halloween hack, and I am looking forward to the full release.

I fear that the ghost detector trivializes the game. It makes the cameras pretty much useless for its main job (aside from foxy). It needs some kind of drawback to using it so much, such as giving it a slow recharge or making it drain a significant amount of power and make the cameras' power drain slightly less. Once that is ironed out, this will surely make for a great experience (if the other mechanics are solid ofc).

wow this game is such an alternate!

QUICK PATCH #4:

Fixed an issue where AI wouldn't increase on 3 & 4 AM

Fixed an error with office easter egg visuals

Fixed issues with Bonnie and Chica's EMF feedback

Changed Bonnie's position visual after being deflected from the Left Door

I accidentally forgot to check a parameter when increasing AI levels on 3 & 4 AM (meaning theyโ€™d stay at their starting AI values for the entire night).

Will be releasing the next patch for this in an hour or so.

QUICK PATCH #3:

Game now uses anti-aliasing when resizing.
Monitor scrubber now no longer requires you to only be hovering over the scrubber itself (meaning camera movement should be less stuttery).
