One day a boy named Randall was running through a forest close to his home as a result of encountering an extremely bright light which pierced through the trees of the forest. Upon reaching the source of the light he finds a star, the star’s name is Caster and explains to Randall that it is one of the brightest stars in the galaxy and needs to return home. Caster is unable to transport back to the stars in its current form because of the energy it lost when it crash landed on Earth, caught in a predicament Caster suddenly discovers that it can draw energy from Randall allowing the star to move short distances. From this discovery Caster requests Randall to transport the star back to where it once originated.
