RE/VIRUS
In the year 3049, humanity is enslaved by it's AI overlords.
But the AI still has resistance from the past, a virus, created to stop it's expansion.
After years of trying to eradicate it, they finally localised it in a single unit.
Today is the day of it's execution.
However, sometimes, the roles of executioner and it's target can be reversed.
HOW TO PLAY
The game is a rhythm game/first person shooter mix.
All game assets (3D / 2D / VFX ) was created in 48 hours.Â
During GMTK23 Game Jam
You play as a virus, that can posess the bodies of your enemies, but you can only do it in the rhythm of the track.
Shoot and hack only to the beat of the song!
After you hack, destroy the previous body, as you have swapped places with the AI.
If you hack the AI right when it's shooting at you, you can instakill it with the same bullet it shoots!
Aim for a high score and high accuracy. And don't forget to look around!
CONTROLS
Use mouse look to look around.
LMB to hack and shoot.
