Shards of Uvutu is a creature-collector RPG about a mysterious cave filled with magic, and the ensuing struggle for power!

Fight through turn-based battles, spending Shards in order to summon minions and gain an upper hand!

  • Retro turn-based combat system!

  • "Attune" with your minions to befriend them and summon them any time.

  • Customize your stats and your minion's stats to your liking, using equipment and Stat Points!

  • Fight for the Radiant Cave and take control of the source of Shards!

  • 16-bit inspired pixel art graphics.

  • Planned for a 20+ hour experience, including story, sidequests, puzzles, and challenges!

Mobile support is a go! This is running on real hardware. Still have plenty of fine tuning to do regarding button sizes, and a rework of the Stats screen is now in order.

Literally just enabled the Android export and whipped up simple mobile controls. Once I figure out why the viewport isn't centered, I'll have to update my game page to add another platform...

Now releasing the v0.1.3 patch of the Shards of Uvutu demo!

Fixed some pretty major bugs, unfortunately affecting NPC shops not loading for some players and some weirdness when losing in battle. Made some other small improvements as well.

Testings some tiles for a dry desert town. I'm really excited to start designing the creatures that fight you in this area!

Shards of Uvutu v0.1.2 Demo patch is out now! Fixing some issues with skipping cutscenes, and improving a particular story sequence.
v0.1.1 had already been released, with vast game balance improvements!
