Welcome to my take on this dusty AU, in which I shall start off with a Pinkie Pie Fight! As previously mentioned, this is my take on the AU, so the Story & Roles wiill most likely differ from what you would normally expect, so if you have any questions, feel free to ask, I shall do a Q&A sometime in our discord server. It's kind of bland at the moment, but more will be added with time.

• Back Story

{<Simple overview>}

Discord influences Nightmare Moon, Nightmare Moon absolutely decimates everyone, and Discord in a change of heart would use the chaos to break out of his prison, and attempt to defeat the alicorn, but would end up being outsmarted and defeated. Before being slain, he would use the last of his magic to preform a miracle, something he never thought possible.

A RESET

To his misfortune however, doing so would have DRASTIC changes...

Long ago, 4 species ruled over Equestria in relative harmony. Earth Ponies, Pegasus, Unicorns, and Alicorns.

Many powerful foes came and went, unable to overcome and defeat the ELEMENTS. One such foe was Discord. Once a tyrant, he was reduced to but a mere statue.

One day, ever clever and DETERMINED, he found a way to spread his influence beyond his limitations, having both stored CHAOS that has reigned for the past millennia, and his prison having become weaker. Scouting a suitable... host to spread his magic upon, he would come across a seemingly perfect match in Ponyville. A certain banished alicorn.

Taking hold of her mind, the Draconequus would corrupt it, planning to make reign chaos and set him free. However, that would not happen.

Instead, she would turn into something far worse.

Discords influence made her wraith worse.

Made her thoughts darker.

Made her stronger.

Empowered and corrupted, nightmare moon would seek vengeance amongst anyone who stood in her path. Merciless in her approach, she spared NOPONY.

Her sister soon who was anxiously her return would come across her carnage, utterly horrified.

What of the elements? Had her star student failed?

And why would her sister do such a thing?

Celestia would cross paths with Luna and pleaded with her to change her ways. Luna, utterly ENRAGED and corrupted with chaos would not listen to her sister and engaged in a fight to the death with her sister. Celestia was strong, but she was unable to bring herself to truly harm Luna, and as such would be defeated. Celestia pleaded once more to her sister, but she was not able to get through to her, and to her horror, before Luna felled Celestia, she would reveal that she had thwarted Twilights plans and destroyed the elements before they were able to be retrieved.

Equestria was doomed.

Discord would witness these events unfold, and upon seeing Luna's actions, would have a change of heart. Yes, he had wanted her to cause chaos, but he had not thought she would go that far. He lost his only true friend.

Using the chaotic magic, he would break out of his prison and set off to stop Luna. However, upon fighting, he realized that he was no match for her. She would also defeat him, and as he laid there, about to be slain, he felt REGRET.

He thought about how this was his fault, and of his late old frenemy, Celestia.

He watched as Nightmare moon charged a beam.

If only he could go back.

.

Then, it hit him

Full with a rush of determination, Discord charged up the last of his magic and right as the beam was about to meet him, preformed a RESET.

• Main Story

Discord arrives back in time just before Nightmare Moon arrives, back in his prison. Nightmare Night comes and goes and there's no sign of her.

A few days later, all hell breaks loose. Tirek was freed from his prison, the elements were scattered by Nightmare Moon, and Celestia has gone missing. Realizing the severity of the situation, Discord attempts to break free, but finds that most of his magic was consumed by the RESET.

Using what magic he gained from the situation at hand he searches for anypony suitable to assist. That's when he finds an Anomaly.

That's when he finds YOU.

-The Fallen (Chara): Discord

--Note: While these characters will closely resemble the role they are given, it does not necessarily mean they will be an exact copy and/or act just like them. For example, pinkie pie is the judge role, but her personality will for the most part resemble something closer to papyrus’s.
