This project is followed by over 1000 people and is still underrated, this is the best feeling 3D sonic movement I've played since Sonic Utopia that revolves around momentum, and that's not just glaze. Genuinely incredible, can't wait for more levels <3
I want to take the movement out to a nice fancy dinner
The one main issue I have with the game is the performance which I hope gets fixed in the next demo. Even with the lowest settings, the game buffers a lot and can barely stay at 30fps.

can you make a patch it says collect crystals to open the portal when i opened the portal and played the level the next part of the island doesnt open it still says collect crystals for the portal when i already opened it is there any fix for it?

About
Sonic Horizons is a work-in-progress Sonic fan-project inspired by Sonic Frontiers and Shadow Generations, aswell as other outside games like Need For Speed, Ratchet and Clank and so on. After the grand defeat of his Eggman Empire, the doctor quickly went back to the drawing board, and used his research on the now-destroyed Phantom Ruby to construct his very own digital void: the Egg Dimension. Even in its currently unstable state, Robotnik turns it into the backbone for his newest grand scheme to seize control of multiple areas around the world, a plan in which Sonic happens to get mixed into after flying past a little cherry-blossom filled island on his Tornado, thus kickstarting his next journey across the horizons.
The game sees you playing across 8 action levels contained within portals found in the 4 Hub Worlds. Portals are activated using crystals, which you can collect either by exploring and completing platforming challenges, engaging with Activities and Encounters, by completing Eggman's Pocket Realm Junk Experiments that are scattered around, or by completing Character Requests. You can approach all of these however you like through the game's physics-based movement, with series staples like the Spin Jump, Roll and Spin Dash, aswell as with new takes on moves like Wall-Running.
