lore of kaelen(the exe's name)
Long ago, before the modern era of Sonic, there was a Mobian hedgehog named Kaelen. He wasn't a hero like Sonic; he was a Scribe of the Master Emerald on Angel Island. His job was to record the history of the Chaos Emeralds.
One day, a dark energy from a different dimension,the Void tried to break into Mobius through a crack in the Master Emerald. To save his people, Kaelen used a forbidden technique to pull the dark energy into his own body, acting as a living prison. He hoped to rewrite the darkness into light.
Kaelen couldn't hold the darkness forever. It didn't kill him; it merged with him. He became a Anomaly, He was erased from history, trapped inside the Master Emerald’s energy for centuries. He became bitter, watching the world move on without him. He stopped being Kaelen and started calling himself "The Legend"—the one who would rewrite Mobius in his own dark image.
this game aims to be unique, to stand out of most sonic.exe games, in case yall are wondering about the lore, no sally dosn't exist in this universe, niether does the freedom fighters, leading to more possibilities.
this game aims to be canon a bit, this taking place after the events of sonic forces and sonic frontiers.
note: there will be easter eggs hidden in most of the zones, i dare you to try to find them.
