Storyline:

It started as a simple curiosity—a late-night dive into forgotten corners of the internet, searching for ROM hacks and obscure prototypes. I’d played Sonic the Hedgehog hundreds of times before, but this… this was something else entirely.

A filename on a shady old forum caught my eye: Sonic1_OHQZSDC.bin. No description. No author. No replies—just a dead link to an obscure file-sharing site that somehow still worked. Against my better judgment, I downloaded it.

The file was small, smaller than a normal Sonic ROM. Just 400KB.
