STORY
Evil businessman Mr. Nightmare has just taken over the entire world through Capitalism™ and Sosina, a silly and jolly alien super warrior (unbeknownst to her), doesn’t want to lose her freedom and goes out to stop him and meets new friends and foes along the way.
GAMEPLAY
Sosina Starlight is a 2D beat-em-up platformer boss-rush game. Featuring a 16-bit artstyle reminiscent of games on the SEGA Mega Drive. You play as Sosina and run and jump through hectic stages while beating down evil soldiers, whether they'd be using their fists or other weapons.
Sosina, the star of the show, has plenty of moves in her arsenal. She can punch, divekick, spinkick, run on walls, slide, charge an energy blast and create shields. She also has two special moves she can use if she generates enough energy in her horns:
Atomic Meteor Blast: A screen-clear move that sends giant blasts raining down the screen and blowing up on-screen enemies.
Powerhorn: A technique that amplifies Sosina's power and speed though she could take more than double the damage and lose health firing a Triple Blast. It only lasts 30 seconds.
