What do you think?

will you ever make a linux version?

So happy for you Remina. Granted it had to be HLB focused but you are finally able to make SPTE a reality.

Where's 0.5.1

The most realistic RR mod i've ever seen man. everything is such a step up from the original. very well done, Remina!

this game is amazing but can i have a sugeshton after you finish with the rock a fire can you add the wolf pack 5 please then that woud seal the deal for this game but despite that wow !!!

--This is more or less a direct continuation of the original Showbiz Pizza Time Experience project for those who were around for the beginning--

I do not take credit for the engine itself (RR-Engine) as The 64th Gamer has created this engine, I did not. All credits for the engine itself goes to him.

All models in-game are made by me, and any that aren't at the moment (being curtains and show selectors as of the 12th of Sept. 2023), will be replaced in the future. All future assets will also be made by me as well. The only thing I reuse from 64th's assets is the textures for some parts of the mechs and stage, and of course, credits to him for that.

Showbiz Pizza Time Experience is an animatronics simulation tool that gives the user (you!) a virtual experience of The Rock-afire Explosion, and other Creative Engineering Inc. shows. You are able to record your own showtapes using this tool and program the characters to sing along to any song! This tool of course also plays back those showtapes which can be shared around if you choose to.

As of now, the initial release (which will hopefully be coming soon!) will include only one show, being the Matlock Bath/Gulliver's Kingdom Hard Luck Bears Jamboree (Rock-afire Explosion retrofit), all with complete cosmetics. Other shows that'll be coming will include:

  • Gulliver's World/Warrington Hard Luck Bears

  • Gulliver's Land/Milton Keynes Hard Luck Bears

Then likely additions further down the line will include:

  • The Rock-afire Explosion

  • The New Rock-afire Explosion

  • The Wolf Pack 5

  • The Hard Luck Bears (Original 1979)

and more!

My current plan for builds is to have 3 primary builds with more possibly coming later down the line. At the moment, I only have the 3 Gulliver's Hard Luck Bears shows planned for public release, but more may come in the future. The order of release would likely be as follows (ver. numbers will not match, order will):

  • Build 1: Complete Gulliver's Kingdom Hard Luck Bears show

  • Build 2: All contents from previous + Complete Gulliver's World show

  • Build 3: All contents from previous + Complete Gulliver's Land show

Of course with possibilities of other shows being added down the line, likely being the Rock-afire Explosion first, then other shows at a later date.

As for just some general info about each show, every show type (Matlock, Warrington, Milton, etc) will have their own individual showrooms which are recreations of the real showrooms from the Gulliver's parks. Matlock of course has theirs already, with Warrington and Milton receiving theirs of course once they're created.

Each character will have complete cosmeticless options also (unlike Replay), which will include their fiberglass shells, leather guards, arm ducts and leg/shoulder foam. Every mech also has airlines, as seen on Beach Bear and Looney Bird in these pictures (more characters will receive them + cosmeticless costumes soon).

To clear things up- no, SPTE isn't abandoned. The last thing I'd want is for this project to end abruptly. I've been busy with personal life and school lately so I haven't had time to develop, but I promise I'll be trying to get an update released soon

SPTE 0.4.1

There isn't much new besides the implementation of the Editor. Mainly wanted to push this out to get a LOT of bugs fixed that I've become aware of after the initial release of 0.4.0

releasing tonight lol

I haven't abandoned this project lmao

Development has been a little slow admittedly.. but this doesn't mean release will be shifted at all. My aim is still to release late next month. Working on a few things atm so expect to hear more about that soon lol

Just posting to say that I do have a discord server for SPTE! Forgot to mention it before. I've linked it in the description of the page, but the link is https://discord.gg/WzT844mETc

Not much has changed in terms of gameplay or the show itself now, but I have finally given the showroom walls the art they were intended to have

Worked on more minor stuff. Got more UI stuff done including (as pictured), more precise control over the different sounds and effects that's been added.

I also started working on Dook's elbow physics, and I'll be adding more features to the UI soon!

Working on proper light fixtures now, starting with upper floodlights (only work on center stage rn)

-ignore how low fps the clip is, its a gif and it was recorded using gyazo so its a bit icky-
