the guards kill you so fast without the armor... with the armor, its not possible for them to kill you at all. I got the "ultima weapen" and kill the tough guy near it... took like 3 minutes just holding ctrl... -_- got to level 11 though, explored around and killed the guards and got killed by john the strong... the fighting is pretty dull just holding ctrl. gotta add some elements where you can avoid attacks or be engaged in the combat, and reduce the amount of guards. I didnt like having to install the game, but w/e. I image writing 001 is difficult and a lot less productive than newer methods of making games. anyways its got potential.
Great start, but I am gonna hold my rating until it's a bit more refined. Like it so far, though! :D
Alright for those of you who have played my game you'll notice at the start some armor it's called omega armor and you'll need it to get through the game. Right now the game only has four areas you can go through. the two weapons you'll find are an ax and a mace. to attack press the cltrl key to jump press the shift key to go to the menu press the esc key. as for movement use the arrow keys. be sure to equip the omega armor before you go to the second area.
I do apologize for the lack of a quick play feature engine 001 games require the instellation folder.
A simple short rpg about a warrior named john as he fights his way through different areas to defeat the evil warrior. Update I have finished this game but will improve the game if needed. You can now just hold the ctrl key to continuiously attack without mashing the key over and over again.
