Your name is Poppytail, a papillon with a plant stem with a flower at the end for a tail. You have many friends, but not everyone likes you. There's this evil creature known as the Wracedevil, who has come up with the ultimate plan to create chaos. What is this plan? To travel back in time to kill your past self, creating a time paradox to show off his power. But when you go back in time to stop him, YOU accidentally kill your past self. This paradox is somehow reversed and you are taken back to the present, but an inter-dimensional portal opens, releasing shape-shifting monsters known as Viruses into the world, who are attempting to impersonate your friends. Not only do you have to stop Wracedevil, his minions and the Viruses, but now your own friends think you are on Wracedevil's side.
Explore a magical cartoonish universe in this bullet-hell monster-collecting RPG with 570 collectable characters, that will have Poppytail and his friends exploring many environments to try and stop the Wracedevil and several other evil characters. With worlds and characters inspired by universes such as The World of Elecreatures, the Poppytail series, Century Game, Easter Fun and A Game About Trimming Hedges, this game has plenty of content for hours of fun!
Note: This is a spin-off and not canon to any of the aforementioned games or books.

I have released an "Art Demo" for The Poppytales. You won't be able to do much, however. What you can do is look at three level backgrounds and some in-progress animations for Poppytail. To change the background, press enter.
