a decent little game. it didn't feel like a roguelike to me, more of an incomplete arcade game.
if you want to add more rogue-i-ness to it, maybe have some sort of magic? or leveling up?
I would definitely like to play this again if it had a level up system where when you do, you can add to speed (maybe turns slightly increase), add to damage (damage you deal), or add to defense (damage you take).
I rather enjoyed the simplicity of this game! As Joseph said, it's not quite roguelike, but it does use some a few roguelike aspects. Nicely done!
Pretty impressive for 3 hours, but the input lag is more impressive :/ Pretty sweet how the levels are randomly generated though.
A minimalistic roguelike game. Use the arrow keys to move, and collect all the coins (yellow) in the dungeon. Avoid the monsters (red) because they will deplete your health. Water (blue) will heal you. Health is shown on your square. Purple squares are magic, and you can pick them up and use them later. To use, press space and select a direction. If you encounter stairs, hit enter to go downstairs, but you can't ever go back up.
