Click (or tap) on a Character to list what they can do during their turn. If their Damage is High, they will impact more damage to the opponent. If your Defense is High, you will take less damage when being attacked by an opponent. Stats also differ from enemy's as well, so be careful. If a character in your party falls, use a AED Kit, or a Repair Kit. If all characters in your party fall, you will lose and be re-spawned back at your save point.
--------------------------------BUYING ITEMS-----------------------------
If you are wanting to buy items, Brodys always has a stock full of items (No you can't use them even if he is in your party) ready for purchase. Purchase food or medical items to heal your party (it doesn't have to be in a battle), weapons and armor (to defend your party), and upgrades. If you don't have Brody in your party at the moment, you can always go to Pirates Cove and purchase items there.
-----------------------------MONEY AND XP-------------------------------
To obtain money (Faz Tokens) and Xp, you will have to complete objectives, or fight enemies. (enemies can also drop items from time to time). You use money to buy items and skills, and Xp to level up. You can also buy perks using Xp (note that it won't take away Xp, but will require a certain level of Xp).
