My friend, Brandon Rich, created a simple game for his graduation project at school for this year; while he created most of it by himself, I lent him a graphic or two as well as a bit of development for a more complex concept he couldn't grasp in time for his project (appropriate accredidation has been dealt for my assistance and other graphics used as required).
His simple game is a maze game, with simplistic controls and a simple story; while it may be a bit rough around the edges in my own opinion, it's a bit better than most other "first games" and definitely will be worth an A on his project. It's a fan-game starring Tiny Box Tim and Markiplier.
