UNDERTALE WILDFIRE is a fan-made prequel to Toby Fox’s UNDERTALE, centered around the second fallen human: the SOUL of BRAVERY.

"There is a human living in Snowdin Forest. Riley is on the run from their past, and they think they got away. Their cabin has light now, their pantry is no longer empty, and their hat helps them blend in at the village."

• FIGHTING is the norm in this twist on the classic UNDERTALE experience! Fight FAIR using Fair PLAYs to reduce your enemy's HP to 1... while dodging bullet patterns to keep your own HP above 1!

  • Alternatively... fight DIRTY with special Dirty PLAYs that deal more damage... but risk killing your opponent.

  

• Manage FEAR: a new TP-like mechanic that unlocks certain SKILLs, and influences damage taken/received!

  • Graze bullets, use PLAYs, and attack foes to lower FEAR and reduce the damage you take!

  • Take damage to increase FEAR and the damage you take!

• Explore the unseen sides of the Underground, from the deepest reaches of Snowdin Forest to the streets of Downtown New Home.

• Enjoy a fresh new soundtrack with new themes and remixes of old favorites!

• Run (for your life) by holding [X]!

• When is the full game/a demo for UTW releasing? We'll announce release dates when we're ready O:

• Can I join Team Wildfire? Sure! Please message @hattyy on Discord so we can talk about that!

• Will UTW be ported to Android/Mac/etc? We'll explore porting the game beyond Windows once its out!

• Will UTW be translated to my favorite language? No plans to release translated versions for now, may explore when the game is out!

• Will UTW support gamepads/controllers? We plan to!

• Will UTW have accessibility options? We'll explore this as the game develops!

• What will be the rules for uploading content ft. UTW? We'll highly appreciate animations, remixes, Let's Plays, and other original content! Please credit us with the following line: "Undertale Wildfire by HatBeemo and Team Wildfire"

  • Soundtrack-wise, we plan to upload the music on our own YouTube/SoundCloud channels, so no need to re-upload!

  • Extensions of music tracks are okay as long as they are un-monetized.

• [This detail in UT/UTY] does not mix well with this detail planned for UTW! That’s okay! The goal is to follow canon unless specific details would interfere with the ability to make a satisfying story/game. Examples include: [All fallen humans were children], [Asgore would never let a fallen human live to old age if he knew about them], [Monsters never killed a single human in the war], [All the humans fell in the Ruins/Toriel met all the humans] and more that I’ll add to here when I think of them!

• Can I use assets from UTW for my own project? Please don't! This includes ANY current assets, as well as scrapped designs and concepts exclusive to UTW.
